itinerary day by day

Day 1
  • Meet at 6PM at the PranaMaya shop for general briefing and meet all the members of the Trip.
  • Night in Playa del Carmen.
  • Optional: WhaleSharks excursions (extra 220 usd)
Day 2
  • Our road trip begins with a dive into the unreal beauty of Cenote Chukum, located inside a cavern and perfect for underwater photography.
  • Afterward, we’ll visit Ek Balam Maya site before going to Valladolid for the night.
Day 3
  • Le’s continue our adventure in Xooch, a big crystal clear Cenote surrounded by nature.
  • We will spend the night in the Maya village of Cenotillo.

 

Day 4
  • We will dive in a cenote Ucil, perfect for depth training the we will visit an abandoned Pyramid in the jungle.
  • Dinner & Night in the village of Cenotillo.

 

Day 5
  • From Cenotillo, we’ll travel to a remote location to dive one of the most beautiful cenotes in the area. It offers depth, crystal-clear water, roots racking down, and even Mayan artifacts at the bottom.
  • After we will head to Merida for dinner and overnight stay.

 

Day 6
  • Wake up in the colonial town of Merida and let’s dive in 2 cenotes of the area well/know for their clear, warm waters and practice deeper dives.
  • Afterward, we’ll take a leisurely stroll through Merida and immerse yourself in the vibrant Yucatan lifestyle.
Day 7
  • Enjoy the day diving in an hidden cenote near Merida. Have fun exploring and taking more pictures!
  • Night and dinner in Valladolid.
Day 8
  • Experience the breathtaking Cenote Palomitas (50m) and Cenote Agua Dulce, adorned with magnificient stalactites. These cenotes offer an opportunity to explore greater depths.
  • We will go back to Playa del Carmen to spend the night

 

Day 9
  • Departure day
  • Optional: Deep training in Cenote Yumkin (extra cost)

SPECIFIC DETAILS

  • Pre requisite: be 18 years old of age or older and being a certified freediver (Aida 2 or similar minimum).
  • Max group size: 8 people.
  • Min group size: 4 people
  • Bring your personal freediving equipment, we recommend a 3mil wetsuit with hoody.
  • Weights will be provided
  • The schedule may change depending on weather and local legislation.
  • We recommend to purchase DAN insurance for your trip and for anytime you go freediving.
  • Respect for nature is mandatory at all time.
  • Other items needed: cap, sunglasses, long sleeves tee-shirt,windbreaker,waterbottle, eco-friendly sun screen and anti-mosquitos product (no sunscreens is permitted before getting in the water).
  • The meeting will be in PranaMaya freediving shop in Playa del Carmen.
  • We recommend flying to Cancun international airport.
  • Plugs are 110 volt – Europeans will need an adaptor.
