Welcome to BELIZE
Let’s get on an expedition to freedive in Mexico and Central America ! We’ll take you to some amazing Mexican sinkholes and the most beautiful reef of Belize in this seven days trip. It will be a fun journey including freediving and the discovery of the Belizean culture. The highlight of this expedition is the famous Blue Hole of Belize and his great conditions for freediving. We will also take you to the best reefs of the country!
Come to observe healthy reef with corals, rays and sharks of the Caribbean Sea! On our way to Belize, we will enjoy some of the best cenotes of the Riviera Maya.
Itinerary
Day 1
- We will meet 5.30pm at Pranamaya Shop for paper, payment, gear and presentation of the trip.
- Night in Playa del Carmen.
Day 2
- You will be able to enjoy an amazing secret cenote in the Maya area in the morning.
- Then we will drive to bacalar where we will have dinner and sprend the night.
Day 3
- We will have breakfast in Bacalar.
- At 10.00 am we will go training at Cenote Azul. After lunch we will leave for San Pedro in Belize where we will have dinner spend the night.
Day 4
- We spend the full day exploring San Pedro ́s reefs!
- In the morming we will freedive “Hol Chan Reef” & the Shark alley.
- After lunch in Caye Caulker., we will go lloking for some cute manatees. Diner & Night in San Pedro.
Day 5
- We will dedicate this day to go freediving at the famous “Blue Hole”
- After lunch on the boat we will be freediving the Half Moon reef.
- Diner & Night in San Pedro
Day 6
- We will spend half day freediving on local reefs (healthy corals/sharks…).
- After lunch in San Pedro, you will be able to enjoy a free afternoon to enjoy the caribbean lifestyle.
Day 7
- We will start the day in the early morning to return to Bacalar by taking the ferry to Mexico.
- We will spend the afternoon freediving at the beautiful Cenote Azul.
- Diner & Night in Bacalar.
Day 8
- From Bacalar, we will drive to Tulum to go to freedive at cenote Angelita.
- Then we will have lunch and visit a Maya site before going back to Playa Del Carmen, where will spend the night.
Day 9
Departure day.

Specific details
- Pre requisite: be 18 years old of age or older and being a certified freediver (Aida 2 or similar minimum).
- Max group size: 8 people.
- The meeting will be at Pranamaya Freedving House at the hotel.
- Rental equipment available (mask, snorkel, fins, wetsuit, weightbelt, and weights).
- The schedule may change depending on weather and local legislation.
- There is no guarantee to find the wildlife.
- We recommend to purchase DAN insurance for your trip and for anytime you go freediving.
- Seasickness medication recommended for boat days.
- Respect for nature is mandatory at all time.
- We recommend to bring eco-friendly sun screen and anti-mosquitos product.
- Other items needed: cap, sunglasses, long sleeves tee-shirt, windbreaker, waterbottle (no sunscreens is permitted before getting in the water).
- Plugs are 110 volt – Europeans will need an adaptor.
